Taito's Chou Chabudai Gaeshi 2 uses the same concept as the first title. You're the father of a traditional Japanese family in several situations that gets on your nerves. So you smash your hands on the table to show your authority until the point where you're so upset that you drop the table upside down (physically!). The score is influenced by the number of broken objects in the process. Score calculation is done on a karaoke song with several replays of your act. The cabinet remains the same but the game will feature 7 stages (including new version of the ones seen in the original and brand new situations such as funerals, part-time job and school) and features up to 4 player simultaneous play.

Konami and Electrocoin decided to lend their support to an event organized by the Cancer Research UK by providing a DanceDanceRevolution to establish an endurance record. Chris McGivern, a teacher from The Oaks Primary School especially sensitive to the Cancer and cerebral palsy research, will try to dance non-stop over 13 hour on a DanceDanceRevolution to enter the Guinness World Record. The event will take place Saturday, October 23 at in the Funland entertainement center at Trocadero in Piccadilly, London. Adjudicators from Guinness World Record will be present and verify that Chris follows well the set of rules imposed to validate the record: he must first start the game in Beginner mode and then increase the difficulty every 5 hours to finish in Expert mode. He can choose the songs he wants but he can not take more than 20 seconds to select the next track. He will receive a 5 minute break every hour but he can banke them to make a longer break later. If his life bar reaches zero, the challenge ends. Pupils from The Oaks Primary School will be present to encourage him. Neo Asia, the new show replacing Asianim that should have been held on November 20 and 21 at the Palais des Congrès de Liège has been canceled. On the website, a word of the organizers explained the reason for the cancellation: the last minute withdrawal of some of their main events. They therefore preferred to cancel the show rather than offering an event of lesser quality. However, they do not abandon the idea of a festival in Liège and hope to regain the fans of japanese culture next year for a new event. People who already bought their tickets will of course be refunded.
