Megatouch recently released the ninth and final update for its Ion platform. Titled Megatouch 2014, this update includes 14 new games (including 10 titles supporting the Tournamaxx tournament system) and new attract screens. What's new: Cardboard Chaos - Zombie Edition offers some cardboard zombies shooting action (in cardboard sceneries), Milky Way Mini Golf is a minigolf in space where obstcles consist of planets and black holes and Air Guardian: Escape is a retro horizontal shoot'em up. In Ice Rift, the player must create circles to break the ice and in Bottletop Drop, he must pill up beer caps of the same brand. Sequels to Megatouch classics are also included such as TriTowers II (with HD graphics) and Photo Hunt Expedition III (with 19 new levels where you have to find given objects). Casino style games are obviously part of the show with Clocker Solitaire, Final Table: Blackjack , Penthouse 5 Dice Poker (a strip poker with girls), Hunks 5 Dice Poker (the same with men) and Final Table: 5 Dice poker. Of course, erotic games can be disabled. This update is only available until December 31, 2013. After this date, the Ion platform will be abandoned in favour of the newest Megatouch Live.

Caladrius, released this April on Xbox 380, is out today in arcades. The title of the arcade version is Caladrius AC (shortcut for Caladrius Aile Ciel). It's distributed via Sega's ALL.Net P-ras MULTI (RingEdge2). This vertical shoot'em up takes developed by MOSS takes place in a gothic world and stages female characters. The chara design is signed by Suzuhito Yasuda (Durarara!!, Kamisama Kazoku). Compared to the Xbox 360 version, all customization elements are unlocked from the start. The Elemental Burst is replaced by a "Fusion" attack which fires all elemental shots at the same time and destroy all bullets on screen. This version includes a new "mission stage" with a new boss: Cecilia Nel Albright and new illustrations. The game uses 5 buttons.

Golden Tee LIVE 2014 comes out today! Besides the support for 1080p HD resolution, this new version includes five new courses: Greek Hills, Highland Links, Pelican Grove, Shady Acres and Turtle Island. It also offers two new sets of golf clubs (Inciter and Surge) and 3 new types of balls (Razor, Archer and Sniper). Players will appreciate the new "Birds-Eye View" feature; when maintaining the blue "Help" button pressed before hitting the ball, the camera will move and give an overview of the course which make it easier to detect hidden obstacles. The size of the on-screen interface has been reduced, allowing a better view of the action. Regarding golfers wardrobe, the menu has been improved and 75 new items were added. Unique items can be unlocked via codes posted on Livewire.

EAG International 2014 is coming soon! Karen Cooke, the show organiser and her team are already focused on preparing the 5th edition for several months. Despite the inauspicious economic climate for the sector since many years, they hope to make the 2014 edition the best of all. Online registration will begin on October 1, via the website which will feature a new look for the occasion. Beside the registration option, it will be possible to book a stand and a hotel directly via the site. Information about the show and exhibitors will be updated regularly. The organisers want to highlight exhibitors by providing assistance to promote their new products and initiatives through their large network of media partners. EAG International 2014 will be held from January 21 to 23 at ExCeL London.

Rare fact, a new arcade opens in Europe. Gamestate establishes itself within the Leisure Dome complex in Kerkrade, Netherlands. Beside the arcade, the leisure facilities include a cinema complex, a bowling, a mini golf in the dark, an Asian restaurant and an indoor playground. The arcade is 500m² and offers more than fifty machines. Unfortunately, the majority of them are ticket dispensing machines including video redemptions Temple Run, Fruit Ninja FX, Deal or No Deal and Doodle Jump Arcade. Gamestate has a special relationship with Namco who brought 4 Dead Heat cabinets there. We wish them a lot of success and hope they will extend their offer of arcade video games. Gunslinger Stratos Ver.1.60 is available today. A new character and a new stage have been added. The new character is Srinivasa, a young blind musician from India who has highly developed his hearing. He is voiced by Toru Ohkawa (Roy Mustang in Fullmetal Alchemist). With the new stage, we discover the Susukino district in Sapporo (Hokkaido). This is not the only new information about Gunslinger Stratos. Square Enix presented a Gunslinger Stratos 2 teaser during the "GUNSLINGER’S BATTLE ARENA -Next-" competition held on Saturday. This sequel is currently under heavy development. More information and a release date will be announced at the "Stratos Festival" to be held on November 2.

A new update of Mobile Suit Gundam Extreme VS. Full Boost is available today. There is only one new mecha added: the AGX-04 Gerbera Tetra. This mecha is piloted by Cima Garahau, it comes from Mobile Suit Gundam 0083: Stardust Memory, a 13 episodes OVA released between 1991 and 1992. It features the following armaments: 110mm Machine Cannon, Beam Saber, Beam Machine Gun, Stürm Booster and Ejectable External Propellant Tanks.

Lord of Vermilion III launch party takes place at Taito Station BigBox Takadanobaba Taito Station (Shinjuku) today. The first 48 players will receive a card sheet and a limited edition gameplay original album. Participants can also exchange unopend old LOV decks against LOV III cards. In this new title, eight players can play together. Characters and monsters from other Square Enix games such as Final Fantasy and Romancing SaGa are available. There are 16 playable characters, they can use three types of weapons: attack, defence and magic. Many new servants are announced and they are always designed by famous illustrators: Calamity Jane (Yu Shiina), Mitorasu (Takayuki Ôdachi), Baal (Fuji Choko), Sodome (Kazushi Hagiwara) and Judah (Ryosuke Aiba). Former LOV servants are also present: the mythological dragon Watatsumi (Jun Suemi), the Mad Hatter (Kurahana Chinatsu), Alice and Dark Alice (Tomatika). Servants cards are divided into 4 types: Common, Rare, Super Rare et Ultimate Rare. Lord of Vermilion III is distributed via NESiCAxLive.
