Apex Rebels is a motion racer developed by 3MINDWAVE for Sega Amusements availalbe in Europe today. You choose from five high-octane futuristic race cars. Throughout the race taking place in various environements, you have to pass through checkpoints, which give speed boosts and unlock advanced skills like Slipstream, Power Drift, and Aero-Drift. Aero-Drift is a unique feature to Apex Rebels, where players can boost through the air, allowing them to effortlessly overtake their rivals. The game features an intelligent adaptive difficulty system to suit to both beginner and hardcore gamers. Apex Rebels cabinet features a 65" LED monitor, a huge panomaric LED Matrix vide billboard showing in-race informations and leader boards, a live camera system, a force feedback steering wheel and a motion base with safety belt and emergency stop sytem. The day has finally come! The Nationaal Videogame Museum is reopening its doors after 5 months of closure. The new address is Luxemburglaan 1, still in Zoetermeer in the Netherlands. Open in its current form since 2017, what started out as an exhibition of a personal collection has transformed over the years into a gigantic museum featuring more than 1,000 games, ranging from 80s classics such as Galaga and Donkey Kong to the latest Japanese music games such as maimai, Chunithm and Sound Voltex. Although arcade machines make up a large part of the collection, there are also consoles and a bar. Museums can be boring, but not this one of course, as you can play all the games showcased here, making it a huge arcade with games from all eras. As you can see, it must be experienced! Run by Hassan Tasdemir, the Nationaal Videogame Museum opens its doors from Wednesday to Sunday from 10:00 to 18:00, with openings until 22:00 on Fridays and Saturdays. Admission is €17.50 for 2 hours and €27.50 for the day.

Two years after opening its leisure centre in Ville 2, Charleroi, Liège-based company MI12 has chosen Gembloux as the location for its second Fun Center. It opens today. A wide range of activities are on offer, including in-house developments such as a laser game without vests (players just carry a gun) and free-roaming virtual reality (VR games are "Survive the Darkness" and "Space Civilization"). You'll also find a 12-hole miniature golf course with fluorescent backdrops lit by blacklights, 8 bowling lanes and a 120-seat brasserie. Of course, we're talking about it here, because you'll also find a 450m² arcade area with a dozen modern games such as Jurassic Park Arcade, Storm Racer G Deluxe, Super Bikes 3, Bullseye Crack Shot, Crazy Rafting, Mario Kart Arcade GP DX, Jet-Pong, To Tha Net and Splash Fight, but also recent Stern pinball games like Foo Fighters, Dr. No, Jurassic Park et The Munsters (video and pinball game list). As with most new arcades, payment for games is made using a reloadable card. The MI12 Fun Center is located in the new Quartier Enée shopping centre, Rue des Orchidées in Gembloux (a 20-minute drive from Namur). It is open every day except Monday (it is open 7 days a week during school holidays).

Street Fighter 6 Type Arcade is finally available on Taito NESiCAxLive following its release for the domestic market in June. The content of the Capcom game is basically the same as the home version, but with the appeal of the arcade setup. 20 characters are currently available, including Ryu, Luke, Chun-Li, Guile, Juri, Ken and the new characters Jamie, Kimberly, Marisa, Manon, Lily, JP and A.K.I.. Street Fighter 6 introduces a fighting system called Drive which takes several different forms: Drive Impact, Drive Parry, Drive Rush and Drive Reversal. There are also two types of control: classic and modern. The classic type retains the 6-button configuration for punches and kicks. The modern type has three buttons for weak, medium and strong punches so you can make special moves by pressing just one button. 2 extra buttons are used for Drive Impact and Drive Parry projections. Players can bring their own controllers to play the arcade version. What's more, local and national matches have become even easier to play thanks to the introduction of a safety mode in which the game isn't over until you've lost two games.

Gamestate game centers openings continue non-stop in Belgium. After Antwerp and Brussels, the famous Dutch chain has decided to open a new venue in Ghent. Located at Korenmarkt 1 in Ghent, it is open every day from midday to midnight, and until 1am on Fridays and Saturdays. 50 games are available, including Mario Kart Arcade GP DX, Pac-Man Battle Royale, Pump It Up Prime 2, as well as numerous redemptions and air hockey. All of which is enhanced by the stylish decor and LED lighting typical of the Gamestate chain. You can get in on the fun today at 6pm for the inauguration!

Virtua Fighter 3tb Online starts operating on APM3 today.Virtua Fighter 3tb started operating in 1997 as an updated version of MODEL3 game Virtua Fighter 3 which was released in 1996. The battle format was changed to 3on3 and a number of balance adjustments were made such as adding techniques. Based on the online technology of Virtua Fighter esports, online battles are now possible. Aime card support makes it possible to display player names and battle records (which can be edited and viewed on VF3tb Online.NET) which was not possible with 3tb at the time.

exA-Arcadia announced 2 new fighting games at IAAPA 2023! Omen of Sorrow: Arising Chaos, a 2.5D fighting game from the Chilean company AOne Games that was released on NESiCAxLive2 in 2022. The action is set in 18th century Europe where classic gothic horror and dark fantasy monsters such as werewolves, vampires, and succubi clash. The second game is Phantom Breaker: Omnia that will be developed by ROCKET PANDA GAMES & exA-Arcadia TEAM EXA-AM6. Phantom Breaker Another Code, the latest version was released on ALL.Net P-ras MULTI2 in 2013. They also announced that ARCANA HEART 3 XTEND will be soon released and a another unknown fighting game is in the works.

After the Gametown arcade spaces in the country's various Center Parcs and the first large arcade opened on Boulevard Anspach in Brussels two years ago, today sees the opening of a new Gamestate in Antwerp. Located in the UGC Keyserlei complex (400m from Antwerp-Central station), this new 2,500m² amusement area offers some sixty machines, including the latest video games and ticket machines, as well as a hyperbowling alley, billiard tables and a darts room. All of this in the cosy environment that characterizes Gamestate establishments. The opening ceremony takes place this evening at 20:00.
