NeoTurfMasta has just succeeded to dump the contents of a Neo-Geo development board he had bought in Japan in March 2016. When he managed make working what he thought to be Voltage Fighter Gowcaizer, he was in shock: it was a completely different game! Unfortunately, data on Fix and Voice SRAM cart was completely unreadable and S1 card was not present. Consequently, there is no sound nor music and elements such as the font and health bars are absent. The game has 12 characters, but they are not all finished, some are not fully drawn, others are missing some of their animation frames or have no hit box. Each character has 3 classes: Chaotic, Neutral and Lawful. The selected class changes the stance, speed, moves and even the character's victory pose. The implementation of the class system is not complete because you must use the debug menu to select a class. Game data have been sent to Haze and the game may therefore be playable in the next version of the MAME emulator. Unfortunately, with missing Fix data, they will need to use replacement data (like NeoTurfMasta did). NeoTurfMasta has published a video of the character selection screen on YouTube and Haze posted a video of the game running in MAME. There's also another video showing the game running on the actual hardware at Midwest Gaming Classic. All other information can be found in his post at Neo-Geo.com. Will we find the developers of this game and learn more about it? Or even finish the game? Nowadays, anything is possible! (at Zombo.com)
Update: The name of the game is Dragon's Heaven. It was developed at Face by ex-Technos staff members (part of the development was outsourced to Toy Pops), the game release was planned for the end of 1997. It was to be a story driven fighting game with a lot of text between fights. The story was written by Kengo Asai. You'll find a good sum up of all info at MadMan's Cafe.

In Belgium, fans of arcade games are in luck lately! After Star Wars Battle Pod and MotoGP, more new games reach our country. After some renovation works, the famous Reflex arcade in Ostend has indeed installed the new Jurassic Park Arcade environmental shooter by Raw Thrills, two MotoGP and Crossy Road Arcade, a very addictive redemption video game! It's a two player Frogger-like game with cute graphics and funny animations. We rarely see video redemption games in Belgium. This is unfortunate because there are many titles available and unlike mechanical games where earnings are often due to luck, here the number of tickets earned depends directly on the player's skills. The Reflex also announced the imminent arrival of Grand Piano Keys, another video redemption with a giant piano where you have to press the keys that light up to play familiar tunes. Reflex arcade is located on the corner of Langestraat and Vlaanderenstraat. This will be another addition to the twenty arcade games already in the arcade. So you know where to go if you visit Ostend...
