A new update of Mobile Suit Gundam Extreme VS. Maxi Boost is available today. Only one new mecha is added this time: the XXXG-01SR Gundam Sandrock from the 49 episodes animeted series Mobile Suit Gundam Wing broadcast between 1995 and 1996. It is piloted by Quatre Raberba Winner. If features the following equipment: Vulcan Gun, Heat Shotel, Beam Machine Gun, Homing Missile, Shield, Cross Crusher, Diffusing Cloak, Armadillo Armor, Self-Destruct System and Hovercraft Propulsion System. The Winter Battle Tournament will be held from December 6 to January 31. The players will compete to win emblems and winter decoration for the game interface.

reflec BEAT groovin'!! Upper started operation in Japan yesterday. This is the sequel of reflec BEAT groovin'!! released in June. This new version adds a new Upper Gauge and Upper Points system used to unlock new customisation options. There are also a new expert mode available at the song selection screen. Two new clear gauges are also added: the Hard Gauge and the Super Hard Gauge. All locked/hidden songs in reflec Beat groovin"!! are still locked or hidden even if the player unlocked them in the previous game.

The third title in the Sound Voltex game series is out in Japan today. Sound Voltex Booth III - Gravity Wars features enhanced fullscreen graphics and 30 new songs (KONAMI Song Remixes, Original Songs, EXIT TUNES Licenses and Touhou Project Arrangements). Three songs received the "gravity" difficulty chart: PANIC HOLIC and TRIGGER★HAPPY from Sound Voltex Booth and サイバーサンダーサイダー from Sound Voltex Booth II -infinite infection-.. The songs can be sorted in 4 categories: SOUND VOLTEX game (BOOTH, infinite infection et GRAVITY WARS), Cleared songs, ULTIMATE CHAIN cleared songs and PERFECT cleared songs.

K-ON!! Hokage Rhythm Selection starts operaration today. This is the second card game from Sega based on K-ON! licence, coming after K-ON! Hokage Rhythm released in 2013. The game is based on the PSP version named K-ON! Hokage Live. There are 46 different cards, 7 stages and music from the anime including the opening GO! GO! MANIAC and the ending Listen!! from the season 2. The players can scan up to three cards, the character costume on screen depends on the type and combination of cards. This also affects combos and the score.

Like every year at this time the new World Club Champion Football IC arrives in Japanese game centers. World Club Champion Football IC 2013-2014 will be out tomorrow and features an updated line-up of teams and players. The cards are divided into 9 categories: Young Star, Rising Star, Bandiera, Superstars (for different countries), World Best Eleven, MVP, All Time Legends, History of Legends and King of Legends. Sega made some innovations to make the game more user-friendly, the most original one is the introduction of "secretaries". The players will be helped by one of the 11 secretaries available. About the clubs, the SSC Napoli entered the line-up, the ACF Fiorentina is back for the first time since the 2001-2002 season and the Bayer 04 Leverkusen returns after a two-year absence.

The second title in NESiCAxLive re-release series of Capcom games is out today. It's Street Fighter III: 3rd Strike. As for Hyper Street Fighter II, the display is in widescreen but the 4/3 aspect ratio is respected, bands are added to the sides dispaying moves of the characters used. Players can save their name, points, ranking and number of KO's to a NESiCA card. A website is also available for players: http://capcom.nesica.net/sf3_3rd/. Compared to the original version released in 1999, the NESiCaxLive version features 6 new colours for each character. They can be selected by pressing one of the six buttons while holding "start" at the character selection screen.

BLADE ARCUS from Shining starts operation in Japan today. This is a tag-battle fighting game featuring a dozen characters from the Shining video game series. The game is developed by Studio Saizensen and is released via the ALL.Net P-ras MULTI network (Sega RingEdge 2). Tony Taka is in charge of the character design and new voices were recorded for the game. Two characters were especially created for BLADE ARCUS: Pairon and Ryuga. Eight other characters are available: Altina, Roseline, Rage and Fenrir from Shining Blades, Maxima Enfield, Lin Xiao-Mei, Melty and Isaac Saint-Germain from Shining Hearts. Sega already planned to add two new characters in the beginning of 2015. The first one will be Rick from Shining Hearts. The second one has not been unveiled yet. Players registered on www.bladearcus.com will be able to win different wallpapers for their smartphone according to the dates they play the game.

Lord of Vermilion III is updated to ver 3.2 today. 75 new cards are added for a total of 150. This update brings new cards from BlazBlue Chronophantasma (Rachel and Tsubaki), Magic the Gathering, Star Ocean and Shingeki no Kyojin. New familiars cards with new capabilities are also available.
