Besides figurines representing mechas, Beach Queens and other heroines in lingerie, Wave Corporation makes scale models of arcade machines. After The Idolm@ster, Taiko no Tatsujin and two models of Vewlix cabinets, the company releases a Sega classic: Hang-On! Hitting the arcades in 1985, this motorcycle racing simulation developed under the aegis of Yu Suzuki created the cabinet model on which all the following games of the genre are based until now. Just look at recent games such as Dead Heat Riders and Storm Rider to realize how the concept has not fundamentally changed in 30 years. The good news for those who do not have the patience to stick all the small parts together is that this 1/12 scale model requires no glue. All components fit and snap-in together easily. It is provided with small cupboard sheets allowing you to choose what is displayed on the screen and height of refinement; it tilts laterally like the real machine! The suggested retail price of this Hang-On model is ¥3600 but it is available at Hobby Search for ¥3420 (about €25). Ride on!
